Patio Replacement & Rot Repair
Completion date: April 2021 Location: Shelton, WA
Client's purchased a home built in the 1990s and found that the concrete back patio was installed by pouring the concrete right up against the exterior Hardiboard siding. We were contracted to cut out and remove the concrete patio in order to then repair and replace rotten exterior wall sill plate, sheathing and one floor joist. We then installed matching siding, added drainage rock and built a new pressure treated and Trek deck on pressure treated sleeper beams to prevent future water damage. We also cut out two other sections of concrete patio to create planter beds along the house and prevent future water damage.
Below you will find a selection of more detailed pictures during this patio rebuild project.
Many general contractors do not "show their work" on their websites, because they do not build to code.
We do it right, or we don't do it at all!
